December 2015

Carter's been losing teeth!

The boys accidentally touch Jack, the Elf on The Shelf and were worried they took away his magic.  They wrote Jack a letter and covered him in cinnamon (??) and Jack sent them back a letter.

I volunteered with Riley working in the Clayton Holiday Store.

When Carter is older he will be a soccer player.  (? But he doesn't want to play on a team....just in the front yard with Chad...!)

We lit the big trees at my work and they looked beautiful, even if I did have to reset the lights many times!

Chad put up a Neighborhood Christmas Tree in the Triangle and we helped decorate it the night of the Neighborhood Christmas Party!  Way to go VP Chad!

Riley went to Alex's birthday party and got to tour Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

The boys decorated cookies and gingerbread houses at Aunt Kate's.

Lily B held Singing In The Halls the last week before Christmas Break and just like last year, Carter was not amused.

Riley, Carter & Chad played some chess.

More Singing In The Halls:

Carter did enjoy his class party (even though there were way too many parent volunteers!)

I took Liz for her annual birthday outing to get our nails done and go shopping!

We saw Star Wars with the Millers.

We attended the W Mag annual Christmas Party.

We baked Grammy's Christmas cookies with Nana.

We caroled in the Neighborhood.

I'm exhausted just reliving all this!

We ate amazing Mamma Jamma jam by Rachel Golden Baker on fresh croissants from Black Rooster Bakery (my new favorite!!)

We surprised the boys with an early Christmas present and took them to Six Flags on Dec 23rd to pick up our Season Passes!

The Myers were in town from the Boston Area and Saudi Arabia so we got together at the Loveladys to visit.

On Christmas Eve we went to Nana & Papa's and went to Christmas Eve service to hear Nana played handbells, followed by tacos and presents at their house.

Christmas morning was an enjoyable morning at home.

We celebrated Nana's birthday on the 31st over lunch at Red Lobster.

New Year's Eve was spent at The Loveladys with friends!

Sweet Princess relaxed on the couch.

Riley started to work on his Invention Convention.

We went to dinner for Chad's birthday at hibachi.  It was Wyatt's first time.

Riley finished his invention!

Carter napped.

Niki napped.

Whew!  What a year!
