The weekend we took Riley to Disneyland, we had Carter stay with my Nana & Papa and then Grandmommy & Haha. The night before we left, they also had dinner at Nana & Papa's, where Riley asked that Nana make him cupcakes. She of course, obliged, and Carter seemed to like the cupcakes better than anyone!
We left for Disney Friday morning and that night Nana sent me some pics of Carter in the bathtub, eating on some washcloths!
And having a bedtime snack with Memaw!
The next morning there was swinging to take care of since the softball tournament got rained out.
And things had to go back on storage until the tournament was rescheduled.
Then Nana & Carter had a mini-photo session while he ate some lunch. She said he looked like he was posing for her!
And then there was his escape attempt while Nana tried to change his diaper!
And then his sweet face while he was talking to us on the phone one night. We missed him a whole lot while we were gone!
But I think he had a fun time with his Nana & Papa before he headed to Grandmommy & Haha's house on Sunday night.
He then got to spend the night with Nana & Papa again the next Friday night when we took Riley to see The Sound of Music at Christ Chapel. Carter again had a bedtime snack (he sure has his Nana & Papa wrapped around his finger!)
He's going to be old enough in no time to be able to do fun stuff with us, but for now Riley's gotten a lot of one on one time with Chad & I. Speaking of how fast Carter's growing, sweet boy has HUGE feet! He's already in a size 7 shoe and his 4 year old brother just grew out of a size 8.
Last Friday I was feeling a little bad that Carter wean't getting to do fun things with us, so I picked up Carter and Zachary after school and took them both to ride the train before he went to Nana & Papa's to spend the night. It was lot of fun being with just the two little guys!
