TeeBall is officially over and we now have Riley's official teeball photos. Not worth the money, but glad to have them anyway. He's pretty cute! Even if he did hate teeball!
My favorite pics actually came courtesy of Ezra's mom, Nell.
I think Carter would have liked to have played more than Riley did.
On Thursday and Friday the boys spent the day with Elizabeth and Zachary and their nanny, Kimmy. Nana had a school conference to attend and so we paid Kimmy to watch the boys also. On Thursday night I went and relieved her and fed and bathed all four kids and played until Uncle Jason got home from work. It was hard work! At one point Carter and Liz were playing games on my phone and I got this shot of them. Their faces make me smile!
On Friday after work TLCC was having a waterslide party on the playground so I took the boys. We ate hot dogs and visited and the boys went down the waterslide over and over. Last year Riley would not go down the slide at all so this was a big change! I was very proud of him. It was so nice to see our school friends and to see Ms Diana, Ms Colleen, Ms Stacy, Ms Taylor and Ms Sara.

Carter continues to not be afraid of water! That night in the tub he put the entire side of his face in the water and kept saying "Shhhh, listen."
Carter is also making HUGE strides on the potty training front. He's going pee pee in the potty at least once every day. Over the weekend he even had a day where he went 4 times in the potty. At this point it's more like Chad, Nana and I are trained to ask him and he has no interest in pooping in the potty yet, but we are leaps and bounds beyond where we were with Riley at this age. I'm pretty proud of him!
On Saturday morning we went to Riley Scott's birthday party at Pump It Up. On the way there we stopped for donuts and Carter picked out a huge chocolate twist! YUM!
After the party we went to Lucile's with Nana and Papa for the first time in what seemed like forever! Carter had a fun time putting the stickers from his party favor all over himself, and not eating his grilled cheese sandwich. (I blame that on the chocolate twist!)
After lunch we went to see the matinee of The Wizard of Oz at Kids Who Care. Riley loved the show so much that Chad took him back on Sunday. After Saturday's show we went to dinner at Pappas Burger with the Loveladys and then Jason, his mom, Liz and Zach came over for bathtime and a bedtime movie.
The boys have been continuing to have a great time at Nana's. It's been in the 100s here so yesterday and today they had fun swimming.
Carter had so much fun swimming that he fell asleep standing up!
Carter can apparently nap anywhere and today he napped in the living room, while Riley had quiet time.
Riley and Carter played hard with Nana today. When they got home, Riley had his first TOMS related toe accident. He stubbed it pretty badly on a rock in the backyard. OUCH!
The trauma of his injury was too much for his tired body and afterwards he fell asleep on the floor while Chad cooked dinner. Poor guy!
I guess this just goes to show, if you're tired enough, you can sleep anywhere!
