On March 4th our sweet dog, Niki died. She had not been feeling well for about a week and while we thought she was getting a bit better, she went downhill very fast the night before and died overnight in our kitchen. We were blessed that the boys woke up in the morning and got to see her body before we took her to be cremated (the boys' request). We sure do miss her, but she lived a great long life with our family.
Princess is now an only pup and she is LOVING life. We've taken her on walks, she's gotten to play fetch with the neighbor dogs and she gets to hang out on the front porch with us a lot. We still have work to do, but she's gonna be a porch dog yet!
We took the boys on a Spring Break trip for the first time ever. We went to Ft Lauderdale/Dania Beach to visit our friends David and Jess and their dog, Sasha. We had such a fun time and spent a lot of time at the beach, where the boys were just like fish, swimming so well in the water!
David helped us find Steven Spielberg's yacht while we were there! It's in this photo behind the boys. Riley was very excited!
In March I got my braces off.
The kids had their Spring Bonnet Parade at Lily B.
We also went to the Mistletoe Heights Easter Egg Hunt.
Beautiful weather means patio time at Joe T's.
And the Easter Bunny came to our house too.
I got a retainer, which I wear 24 hours a day until probably August, when I only have to wear it at night.
My friend Tracy invited me to UTA to listen to Jane Goodall speak. That woman is pretty amazing!!
