Ringing The Bell

Last week Grammy finished her radiation treatments!! We are so proud of her! She is the toughest, strongest woman I know and I'm so blessed to have her in my life! Look at this smile!

She got to ring the bell to signal her treatments were OVER!

On Saturday we had Riley's 4th birthday part at the Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center in Arlington. We always have such a great time there and we love introducing the place to new friends. This year Riley had a joint party with his friend Aiden from school. It was Batman party and we all had a really great time!

One of the presents Riley got was a cowboy belt from Nana & Papa. He also got one from Grandmommy & Haha. On Sunday he insisted on being dressed up like a cowboy and here he is before we met up with Nana & Papa for lunch at Lucile's.

On Monday Riley started a week of Museum School. He had been asking to do Museum School for months since his friend Aiden went and we were able to get him in for a week session this week called "Under the Sea" where he learned about sea animals. He had a lot of fun and it went by way too quickly!

On Wednesday my sweet big boy turned 4 years old! Unbelievable! He woke up to a pancake breakfast and we got him a Batman shirt and a Superman shirt. He chose to wear the Batman one. We also told him that his special birthday surprise was to go to the circus that night. First he had Museum School and then I took him to school for naptime so he could have a birthday snack with his friends after. He asked for me to make brownies for his snack and of course I was thrilled to do so! Chad & I picked up the boys and then met Nana & Papa at Pappas Burger for a milkshake birthday dinner before heading to the circus.

We had a great time at the circus and both boys stayed awake the whole time! Riley even got us to buy him a $22 circus light toy! He knows how to get what he wants on his birthday! I had not been to the circus since I was little and my Memaw and Papa Dick took me. It was fun to experience it with my children! Before the show we got to go to the animal open house and see the animals up close and then before the show starts they let you walk onto the show floor and there is a whole circus experience, which was really cool. And special thanks to Kyle for the tickets and making the experience so awesome!
