So so so much has been going on in our lives that blogging has been at the bottom of the list. I'm going to re-cap quickly in 3 separate posts: pre-vacation, vacation and post-vacation. Here is the pre-vacation post.
The boys enjoyed their last days with Nana before she had to start getting her classroom ready for the start of school. Carter even took a nap for once!
Kids Who Care had a fun week of 25th anniversary alumni activities and we had fun playing with the Lovelady and Myers kids at a brunch that weekend. We sadly had to say goodbye to the Myers' for the school year as they have moved to Saudi Arabia for Mike to teach school.
Chad discovered a new ice cream shop at Montgomery Plaza called Pop N Cream. They have Blue Bell ice cream, 40 flavors or popcorn and candy. Chad even got them to name a sundae after him: The Chadoli. It's a two-step sundae with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with a strawberry milkshake on top. My first trip was a solo one with Carter where he enjoyed having a triple chocolate mustache.
Chad took the boys for haircuts before we left town and I got these artsy shots of their new do's.
Other than Kids Who Care and a bit of back to school prep we were basically just getting ready for our MN vacation, which I will cover in the next post!
