The first week of school Riley had his well-check at the doctor. Little man was 42 lbs, 12.8 oz (30%) and 3 ft, 9.5 in (48%). His BMI was 14.5 (lean little guy) and his hearing, vision and BP were all great!
We finally completed staging the house to start showing it and I showed it on Saturday.
Chad was out of town this weekend and Riley had been asking all week to make brownies, so on Saturday afternoon we did. The boys insisted on wearing aprons, "because that's what bakers do!" Adorable! They took turns adding the ingredients and they both stirred the batter. Somehow, I've eaten more brownies than either of them!

On Sunday we met up with the Hayes and the Loveladys to ride the train. Had a blast!
We then braved 'Ol South Pancake House for lunch/brunch following the train ride.
After a brief rest at home I took the boys to the C.R. Smith Museum for the Lego Travel Adventure exhibit (which was conveniently right by the airport, as Chad's flight arrived last night). Riley saw commercials on PBS all summer about the exhibit and had asked multiple times for us to take him. The exhibit was closing yesterday and we made it 2 hours before closing time! Cutting it close!
