Today was a very hard day for my parents. After quickly going downhill over the last couple of weeks, my parents made the difficult decision to put their dog Kori to sleep. Kori started out as my dog, but she always liked my dad the best. She was 15 years and 1 month old, so she lived a good long life. We'll miss you sweet girl.
Thankfully my Dad's best friend and his family are staying with my parents while they build a house and their two golden retrievers are at my parents house, so at least there are still sweet dogs for my boys to play with and lay on...at least for a few more months.
Please send your prayers out for my parents as they experience really being "empty-nesters" for the first time ever. No kids at home and no pets at home.
